NEW JERSEY CONSERVATION OFFICERS ASSOCIATION
CONSTITUTION:


1. The name of the Association is "New Jersey Conservation Officers Association".

2. The objectives of the Association are:

(a) To maintain as association of Conservation Officers who are of full time,
deputy, retired full time or retired deputy status within the State of New Jersey.
(b) To endeavor to secure a greater degree of recognition in the vocations for
the members of the Association.
(c) To encourage and promote the professional development of the
Conservation Officers in the State of New Jersey.
(d) To encourage and promote high standards and practices of professional
wildlife and fisheries law enforcement.
(e) To encourage and develop camaraderie and "esprit de corps" among the
Conservation Officers.
(f) To encourage and promote personal and professional liaison and co-
operation among New Jersey Conservation Officers and other wildlife and
fisheries law enforcement officers in North America.
(g) To encourage and provide opportunity for discussion of common and
unique problems facing Conservation Officers in the State of New Jersey.
(h) To promote and enhance the image of professionalism of New Jersey
Conservation Officers.
(i) To provide encouragement and support to all members in their
professional endeavors.
(j) To organize and initiate social functions for the membership's benefit.
3. The operations of the Association are to be carried on at the home of the President.

4. In the event that the Association should at any time be dissolved, the remaining assets after payment of all debts and liabilities shall be turned over to a recognized charitable organization as directed by the members of the Association. This provision is unalterable.
